  • In preparation for the solar eclipse, District 91 ordered eclipse viewing glasses for our students. On 8/17, we were notified by the vendor that our order was refunded because of a safety recall. We searched in vain for a replacement for this order, however, we were not successful. Therefore, we will not be able to safely take students outside to view the eclipse. Students will be able to watch on television and see it darken through the window and will be given lessons on the eclipse. Student safety is our greatest concern, so we will not take the risk of them looking directly at the sun. We thank you for your understanding and are looking forward to a great school year!
